Our Hawaiian adventure begins with a brief stopover in Los Angeles, where we'll catch our first glimpse of the Pacific Ocean! Just a short ride from LAX, we can spend the afternoon exploring Manhattan Beach's charming pier and watching surfers catch waves. The beach town offers excellent dining options along Manhattan Beach Boulevard. If we're feeling adventurous, we can rent bikes and cruise along The Strand, the beachfront bike path that offers stunning coastal views. For dinner, we might check out the nearby In-N-Out Burger for a true California experience, or enjoy fresh seafood at one of Manhattan Beach's local restaurants. With an early morning flight to Maui, we'll stay close to LAX at the comfortable Residence Inn, where we can relax by the outdoor firepit and rest up for our journey to paradise.
